Global Human Rights Minimize

CPR was honored with an invitation to participate in the Business Leaders Initiative on Human Rights in conjunction with Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

The program, “Corporations and Human Rights: Accountability Mechanisms for Resolving Complaints and Disputes,” drew individuals from private and public organizations including National Grid, GE Foundation, Human Rights Watch, Exxon Mobil, Amnesty International USA, and members of the Swedish and Kenyan governments.

This group will be investigating best practices for corporations in enforcing and advocating standards for human rights throughout the globe and expanding the impact of corporate social responsibility. CPR will be advising on possible approaches to handling complaints and disputes arising from corporate activities that adversely affect local populations and the application of ADR principles to human rights abuses.
