Professional Bio
Symone Ellwood-Bailey, a sociocultural anthropologist, is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in managing social research centers, the Columbia University Center for Archaeology and the NYU Center for the Study of Africa and the African Diaspora. Beyond her roles in research centers, Symone has a rich background in education, having taught Anthropology and served as a former substitute teacher and tutor in the city of New York, she possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, she has valuable administrative assistant experience due to her time with CUNY. Holding degrees in Anthropology, Black Studies, and English, she brings a multifaceted perspective to her new role as Coordinator of Special Events. In her role, Symone serves as the key administrative contact for CPR Institute’s large-scale events and operations.
