Event Details

CPR Members are invited to attend the CPR Institute Mediation Committee Meeting on June 18th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM EST.

This meeting will be held on Zoom. This event is for CPR members only.

Please join nationally-renowned speaker, mediator and legal technology innovator Susan Guthrie for a talk presented virtually by CPR’s Mediation Committee on June 18 , 2024 at 12 noon ET, entitled, “Beyond the Headlines: State-of-the-Moment Practical Applications of AI for Mediators and Users of Mediation.”  There has been much speculation as to where AI is headed, and, with it, legal processes, jobs, and our world, but it is clear that AI is here and it is a tool to be mastered. Susan will ground us in the straightforward ways in which mediators, litigators, and parties can harness AI to enhance mediation practices, and she will demonstrate simple applications by which we all can begin to use AI to advantage rather than fear it.

A pioneer in Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) and legal technology, Susan Guthrie founded Learn to Mediate Online™ in 2018, co-founded the Mosten Guthrie Academy in 2019, and recently received the L. Randolph Lowry Award for her educational contributions. Susan is Chair-Elect of the ABA’s Section of Dispute Resolution for 2024-2025. She hosts top-ranked podcasts and consults with professionals to support them in building and growing successful practices.

CPR members will need to log in to the CPR website in order to register. Once registered, you will receive instructions in your e-mail to join the Zoom meeting.
