The General Counsel View of Early Dispute Prevention: The Precursor to ADR
Companies have long known that the least expensive conflicts – in terms of both time and money – are the ones that don’t become full-blown disputes. The interest in and use of B2B dispute prevention and early resolution mechanisms is growing in the U.S. corporate legal community. This panel features in-house counsel from major corporations discussing their views of these techniques, as well as their expectations for the role(s) outside counsel can and/or should play in this environment.
Speakers:
Cynthia Randall, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel - Litigation, Microsoft
Laura Robertson, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Global E&P and HSE, ConocoPhillips
Michael Paisner, Partner, Perkins Coie LLP
