Investment Disputes Subcommittee

The Investment Disputes Subcommittee will meet on January 21st from 12 to 1 PM EST on Zoom. Please make sure to register ahead of time in order to attend.

This meeting will include a presentation by Eric Ives, Senior Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Commerce, who will discuss the Department of Commerce's work in building ADR and commercial law frameworks around the world.

In his current role, he is responsible for leading the Department of Commerce's ADR development portfolio in Central Asia, Pakistan and MENA, and has been involved  in regulatory reform in Central and South Asia. Based upon his work in these regions, Ives will touch upon potential flashpoints for future ISDS disputes arising from regulatory reform in Central and South Asia. 

The presentation will be followed by a short Q&A.
