(Reggie) Smith has joined the CPR Board of Directors.
CPR’s Board of Directors comprises thought leaders from a variety of backgrounds with a shared goal of preventing disputes and finding ways to resolve them more effectively and efficiently when they do arise.
Smith is a partner at King & Spalding LLP. His practice is focused on international commercial arbitration and cross-border litigation, specializing in commercial disputes within the energy sector and investor-sovereign disputes. Smith has represented investors in a number of high-profile suits against sovereigns, notably serving as co-lead counsel in a case against Argentina that led to the largest judgment ever rendered against a sovereign in a United States court. He earned a J.D. from the University of Georgia, magna cum laude; a M.A. from Emory University; and a B.A. from Emory University, summa cum laude.
“CPR is fortunate to have Reggie join the CPR Board of Directors,” said CPR President & CEO Serena Lee. “His extensive experience in resolving high-profile and high-stakes disputes provides him with a wealth of knowledge and an important perspective that will strengthen CPR’s mission to manage conflict to enable purpose.”
