This panel examined the provisions in a typical life sciences licensing transaction to clarify the purpose and considerations for deploying the provisions in an effort to optimize the value of the transaction and avoid disputes - all as set forth in a new book of the same title, that has been published by CPR and its Healthcare & Life Sciences Committee. The concepts can be applied to many other collaborative transactions.
